Bootspy, truly this is an extensive explanation on boots. My biggest concern is what type of jeans I should get? I ordered two pairs of Nicks, two of Whites, one Russell Mocs, one Solovair, and a pair of Redwings Heritage purely based off of this video and a few others that Rose Anvil has up. I expect them all within the month but, I do not own a single pair of jeans AT ALL. I have like 12 pairs of khakis that I cycle through however, it's safe to say that none of them would go with a boot of any variety. TLDR; What jeans brands and/or types would you recommend?

Worked on high steel it's so we don't fall off the structure dumb---- when the heel catches on anything. I was on the top floor of a structure in the arctic and I was on top no safety line back in the eighties and I was bringing in loads and then sliding them I to a hole in the center and as I had this prefab wall section and I was backing up I stopped dead in my tracks and thought I must be close to the edge and then I shiimmyed that piece ahead 8 inches a looked down between my feet and seen that the heels were one inch over the edge and then shuffled until I could take a few steps and sat on the wall section and tried to lite a smoke but started shaking so bad I couldn't lite that smoke and had to take a couple days off.

It would only age like this if you weren’t taking care of them at all.

My boots are tight across where the tongue starts, it applies pressure where my toes meet the foot. Would this boot stretcher help with that?

This boot is meant to have extra support for backpacking and is meant to be armor for the feet compared to a light hiking boot, which wears out more quickly. It's going to be heavier, it needs to be. This boot is designed FOR overnight backpacking trips, and also for off trail use and it is designed well.

What about the Iron Ranger Chukka work boots? They use a different last that is narrower in the toe box, and I have read that you should not downsize but go with your usual shoe size (not sneakers).

Iron workers were wedge soles because normal soles with a pronounced heel can catch on steel beam edges causing a trip. Something that can be fatal working on a high rise.

I've worn Redbacks for years. The most common mistake I've made wearing them is that I forget to put on socks. The solution is to sleep in a pair of socks, which gives you a jump start on your day as soon as you wake up. The downside is you have to sleep in a pair of socks.

Heels get stuck to things.. so that becomes a problem.. Same thing applies to biker shoes as well. Also I find them more comfortable for all day standing and walking. Bought a pair of Timberlands, I can now walk 15000 steps without any discomfort.

I find it cool everyone has different experiences with boots. I got a pair of Thorogood slip on boots and they were comfy from the very beginning. People I know who have redwing say the same thing for slip on however laced boots they say feel uncomfortable because the leather has to break in some areas. The moment my coworker told me he has had his thorogoods for 5 years, that was the final push for me to buy some

you didnt even do this properly at all. You didnt measure your heel to ball measurement and therefore didnt get your size or width correclty.
